Born from a passion for nature and a commitment to community, Somada Tour is not your average tour operator. Our journey began during the challenging times of the pandemic when a group of nature enthusiasts embarked on a training course for nature guides. Little did we know that this would ignite the spark for something truly special.

As part of our training, each of us crafted a business plan centered around nature and community tourism. But it was a pivotal moment when we entered the national ideas competition, "startup challenge + 2021," hosted by the government of Cape Verde and esteemed international partners. Against all odds, we clinched a spot in the top 3, propelling us into the spotlight and affirming our dedication to our mission.
